The Social Studies Portion of the GED Test
The Social Studies portion of the GED test consist of reading for meaning in social studies, analyzing historical events and arguments in social studies, and using numbers and graphs in social studies. The social studies portion covers social study topics in civics and government, economics, U.S. History, and geography and the world. You have 70 minutes to complete the test and it consists of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, drag and drop, select area, and drop down type question formats.
