General Educational Development Test

What is the GED?

The GED test is a series of tests that determines if you have a high school level of education. The test consist of four parts, broken into separate exams: math, science, social studies, and reasoning in language arts with an extended response writing section. When a student passes the GED test they will earn a state high school diploma and recognition that they have a high school level of education. The student must receive a score of 145 or above on each portion of the test in order to pass.
