Microsoft Access is an information management tool, or relational database, that helps you store information for reference, reporting and analysis. Access can store and manage vast quantities of data. Used to intergrate information from other applications such as excel.

Microsoft Access can be used to:

  • Create and maintain databases with tables
  • set up rules for what data can be added to the database
  • Create and run queries.
  • Create reports that are easier to understand material and easy for printing and sharing
  • Create macros so that multi-step tasks can be performed with the click of a button
  • Import and export data from external sources that can be used for comparison
