Physical Child abuse: Any act that results in a nonaccidental physical injury by a person who has care, custody, or control of a child
Child Neglect: Negligent treatment or maltreatment of a child by a parent or caretaker under circumstances indicating harm or threatened harm to the child's health or welfare.
Child Sexual abuse: Sexual exploitation or sexual activities with children under circumstances which indicate the child's health or welfare is harmed.
Emotional abuse: The persistent emotional ill treatment of a child such as to cause severe and persistent effects on the child’s emotional development.
Munchausen syndrome by proxy: A psychological disorder marked by attention-seeking behavior by a caregiver through those who are in their care.
