Feeding & Eating Disorders

According to the DSM-5, Feeding & Eating disorders can be characterized by a persistent disturbance of eating or eating-related behavior that results in the altered consumption or absorption of food and that significantly impairs physical health or psychosocial functioning. 

The following disorders are categorized under feeding and eating disorders:

• Pica 
• Rumination disorder 
• Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder 
• Anorexia nervosa 
• Bulimia nervosa 
• Binge-eating disorder 
• Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder
• Unspecified Feeding or Eating Disorder​
